Weekend Activity Recommendation: Ferdinand

We are starting a new series called weekend activity recommendation where we will suggest a family friendly activity for you and your family to take part in. If you know of a great weekend activity that is coming up, please message us by clicking this link.

While the weather conditions in the Cleveland area have significantly improved from the icy weather conditions we have had in the last few weeks, it’s still not quite warm enough for most people’s taste to be outside. Our recommendation this week is to go see the movie Ferdinand.

Ferdinand (rated PG for rude humor, action and some thematic elements), starring John Cena and Kate McKinnon, was largely overlooked due to sharing the same release date as Star Wars: The Last Jedi. This is really unfortunate due to the fact that it is a fantastic movie. The movie never drags and is a wholesome and fun movie about family and home. Speaking of “Home,” Nick Jonas’ main theme song is catchy and reminiscent of Idina Menzel’s “Let It Go.” The movie is a solid, kid friendly film but also provides a story that people of all ages will enjoy.

The movie is no longer at the AMC Bradley Square Mall theater but the movie is still playing in Bradley County at the UEC 14 in McDonald. Click here for showtimes.
